We asked Darielis to take us into her home that she lives in with her family. This is the reality for many people living in Dominican Republic. There are so many families in need and today we can make a difference in her life. Please consider donating and sharing
Yazira (Yera)
We went to visit Yazira (Yera) living with her parents and three children. Her husband was part of the crew on a fishing boat caught fishing in international waters. All of the crew was jailed. Her father has severe neuropathy caused by diabetes and deals with open wounds on his legs and feet. You can see the blood stained floor around where he sits. We have been providing money for medicine to help and he has been improving but they are eight people living in this small home supported by the mother’s small income the makes on some days cleaning homes.

Leaky walls and a muddy floor offer little protection, forcing them to endure unsafe conditions with each storm. Despite her strength, she dreams of a secure home where her children can thrive.
